Kohler’s Gaseous-Fueled Mobile Generators Recognized with Award

Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE), a premier resource for professional engineers who design mechanical, electrical, electronic and related systems for commercial, industrial and institutional projects, recently designated Kohler Power Systems’ gaseous-fueled mobile generators one of the best new products of 2015. CSE recognized the liquid-propane gensets in the Emergency, On-Site, and Standby Power category within its 2015 Product of the Year program.

“We’re pleased that CSE readers selected our gaseous-fueled mobile generators as one of the best new products of 2015,” said Anne Feudner, product manager for Kohler Power Systems. “These mobile generators are connecting with end users because they run on environmentally-friendly fuels and can help reduce fuel costs by 15 to 20 percent, when compared to comparable diesel units.”

Kohler’s industry-leading gaseous mobile generator line is engineered to provide reliable power in any situation from disaster recovery and special events to serving as primary power at construction sites or backup power at water utilities, commercial retail and healthcare facilities. The line can easily switch between optional on-board LP fuel tanks and external LP liquid, LP gas or natural gas fuel sources. The on-board LP tanks are built for a 24-hour run time while connection to an external LP or natural gas supply offers extended usage. Optional add-ons like cam-locks and a voltage selector switch can also be integrated, based on a user’s specific needs.
