Kohler, Wis. March 12, 2024 - Kohler Power Systems North America, part of Kohler Energy, hosted its annual Distributor Principals meeting February 20-22, 2024 in Sonoma, CA. The meeting was attended by distributor principals and executives from each of the North American distributors.

A highlight of the event was the annual Industrial Distributor Awards ceremony and luncheon. With this ceremony Kohler recognized the major accomplishments and contributions of its distributors. The award categories this year focused on significant distributor accomplishments, associates of the year, and the annual performance awards.

The winners of the 2023 Kohler Power Systems awards were:

The Big Hitter award is presented to the heavy hitters of Kohler’s distributor network; a celebration of big wins! This year, two distributors were recognized for landing big hits and delivering ‘out of the park’ orders performance, each with orders more than 200% of their goals.

The Sourcewell award is presented to the NA Industrial Distributor who demonstrates excellence in leveraging the Sourcewell program and driving the highest levels of new orders.

The Tom Ferry award recognizes passion for landing large projects, each year Kohler presents the Tom Ferry Award to the distributor who orders the largest Paralleling Switchgear project.

The AMPS Distributor of the Year award is presented to the North American industrial distributor who demonstrates consistent strong performance in selling Kohler parts and providing service.

The Industrial Distributor of the Year award is presented to the North American industrial distributor who consistently demonstrates excellence in all performance measures and aspects of being a distributor.

The People in Power awards are presented to individual associates within distribution for their overall performance, commitment, and engagement, with the intent to provide appreciation and recognition while fostering an inspired community within the broader distribution network.
